Game Shooting

In Scotland, the game season starts on the ‘Glorious 12th’ (Aug) with Grouse.

Driven Grouse can be expensive, so why not try ‘walked up’ instead – you do need to be fit though!

1st Sept sees the Partridge and Duck and Goose seasons start and on the 1st Oct, Pheasant season comes in.

The season for Game birds end on 1st Feb.

‘Walked-up’ shooting days have become increasingly popular. These are known as knock-about or rough days and will include a mixed bag of birds such as partridge, pheasant, woodcock, duck and pigeon.

If you would like to book or try your hand at ‘Driven Game or ‘walked up’, we offer training packages:

If you need to hire a rifle, we can arrange.

Medal Heads are priced separately, please ask.
