Two luxury self catering cottages set in the idyllic picturesque setting of Kelso Roxburghshire in the Scottish borders.

These cottages offer a peaceful environment within the confines of a working farm called Smailholm Mains. Situated just outside Kelso on the Mellerstain Estate owned by the Earl of Haddington, in the beautiful Scottish borders of South East Scotland.

Smailholm farm is the ideal location to get away and enjoy a relaxing holiday. Everyone is welcome to walk round the spectacular surroundings and enjoy the sight and sounds of the Scottish Borders' countryside.

Activities in the area include golf, racing in Kelso, off road activities, rugby, including the world famous “Melrose Sevens” , fishing, shooting, hiking/walking, hot-air ballooning and visiting places of historical interest for instance Scotts View, this is the region that is said to have inspired Sir Walter Scott.
